Welcome to the new PowerPlay. This  marks the first “official” posting as the PowerPlay blog and closes the chapter on our email newsletter that we’ve been publishing for five years.   Wow five years goes by in a flash.

Funny how one single step is really two.

It takes you from the place that you have been to the place where you are going—the real trick is to make sure each step actually takes you where you really want to go…in business and in life.

With all the major shifts with BrandU including this subtle yet significant PowerPlay step…hmmm, it got me thinking…“How do “you” really know if the steps you’re taking are truly taking you where you want to go?” I explore this in this week’s Power Blast.

In closing, I feel an odd sense of mourning for the way we’ve been doing things and yet a sense of excitement for the new horizon in front of us.  Funny how a simple thing like publishing an email newsletter can have that kind of sentimental attachment.  Then again, this isn’t just an email newsletter…to me.  I hold this connection with you as a treasured relationship.  Thank you for taking this step with us here.

Of course, here you’ll continue to receive all the goodies we’ve been sharing with you over the past five years and then some. I’ve convinced Vito to jump in and answer your questions as well.  And I’ll be able to share more of what’s working in business and what’s not.

In fact, I’ve been wanting to highlight brand “boo boos” with you so that you can avoid them.  I’ll share a real doozy with you next week!

PLUS, you’ll be able to share your opinion live about everything we do…right then and there.  Starting today, it’s a two-way conversation…or really a million-way conversation between all of us.
